The first in this series of books was Letters from Malaya 1951-56, followed by Letters from Malaya 1957-62, the Letters from Malaysia 1963-69, chronicling the experiences and adventures of Ted Miles when he was teaching in Methodist schools, all in letters to his brother, Charles, in the United States. Now comes Letters from Malaysia – The Seventies, about his experiences – first as teacher, then as Principal – in Taylor’s College. He calls those first ten years a “decade of Change”, and these letters will show why.
