A catalogue for an exhibition of the same title featured at the Art Museum, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The exhibits of art objects are selected from the Mok family collections of three generations, namely Mok Kon Sang, Mok Hing Yiu, and Christopher and Edwin Mok, descendants of Mok Sze Yeung (1820-1879), who was the founder of three-generation compradors for the Swire Group. The wide scope of the collections include paintings, calligraphy, studio objects, ceramics, jades, lacquerwares, gold ornaments, jewelry, Ming and Qing imperial costumes etc, all are in full colour illustrations with descriptive captions. In addition are two articles, "Mok Family - A Retrospective" and "Mok Kon Sang and His Family - From Compradors to Professionals", contributed respectively by Christopher Mok and Christine Loh, providing readers with first-hand information and in-depth interpretation of the Mok family tradition - collecting has become a way of life, and appreciation of Chinese culture, a matter of course.
