This book, “That She May Dance Again” is the fruit of an important and delicate research made by Maryknoll Sister Nila Bermisa to document cases of sexual harassment in the Church. This is a valuable book to convince church dignitaries who insist that “such cases are rare”, that indeed they are not rare. It also is a tribute to the woman and children who in spite of their ordeal have survived. It is a call to the hierarchy to take seriously this blot on her face that is causing to lay people to be disillusioned and disenchanted with their Church. This has to be seriously addressed by the hierarchy and the Superiors of Congregations and concrete steps should be taken to alleviate the sufferings of the victims and to give them justice. May this book contribute to a real renewal in the Church.
