The Infrastructure mapping is the first attempt of the National Statistics Bureau (NSB) to Identify and locate Various socio-economic facilities in the country. The exercise was carried out throughout the country using the Geo positioning system (GPS) and the field survey was conducted in the year 2008. The present report consists of data on sectors like the health and education establishment, roads, bridges, RNB centers, gewog centers etc. and on historical sites/ihakhangs. The mapping is based on the land cover maps provided by the Department of survey and land records.
