The book titled ‘Commercial History of Dhaka’, published by the DCCI, has highlighted the rich economic history of Dhaka covering 400 years, its ups and downs, in shaping the economy of the country. It has acknowledged the role of the private sector in development of trade and commerce, manufacturing, investment and services.
