Growing up on a hobby farm in Epsom, Victoria, Australia, Emma spent her childhood surrounded by chickens, sheep, cows and horses and her love for food from the land developed from a young age. Her parents grew a lot of their own vegetables and fruit and this started Emma on her journey of foraging, with a keen interest in edible weeds and mushrooms.
