Issues in Curriculum and Language Education is written in honour of a multi-lingual, erudite and fecund scholar in appreciation of his outstanding contributions in the Institute of Education in particular, and the University of Ibadan in general. It is a Festschrift in honour of Professor Maclean Aderele Araromi – a lucky man who spent two good terms as Director of the Institute of Education and had the grace of appointing six Research Fellows within the two terms. This Book of Readings contain fifty-eight contributions (35 papers in Volume 1 and 23 papers in Volume II). The honored himself made three contributions (two in the area of French language and one empirical study) The book is a unique compendium of contributions covering many aspects of the Curriculum and Language Education.
