This book tells the story of Li Zhi, the founder of Yu Shugen Children's Educational Institution. Listening to the inner call, Li Xiao, who was a child of her own, was originally a media officer of the World Wide Fund for Nature and the Natural Resources Defense Council of the United States. With her husband Dutch linguist An Ledong, she resolutely gave up the urban life in Beijing, and founded the Yung Shue-root children’s educational institution dedicated to the development of Jingpo’s children’s education in Jingpo Shanzhai. She herself also changed from a white-collar worker in Beijing CBD to a “mountainman” living in the village of Jingpo.
