Rugby - The Afterlife explores how 23 All Blacks have coped with the transition from rugby to ‘normal’ life. They represent a range of players, some legends of the game, some who raked up fewer tests, but all provide a candid portrait of life after rugby. Most have turned the discipline, work ethos and determination required for high-level sport to good advantage in forging new careers, sometimes in surprising fields. In their own words, the sportsmen relate how they have managed to deal with life outside the training fields, gyms and hotels and whiteboard sessions that had become their routine existence.
