The book focuses on one of the key complex issues of the history of Vietnamese thought, namely: the “human problem”. It is the problem of so very broad content. Being aware of it, the author knew how to set a limit in a critical period, rather typical XV-XVIII centuries and focus on a number of typical thinkers (if so called) such as Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Binh Khiem, Ngo Thi Nham as well as delve into the main problems such as: “Thought about human birth and humanity", "Thinking about family and social responsibility", “Thought about human education", and "Thought about nature and human behavior with nature. In addition, prior to the analysis of the contemporary context and the presence of some thinkers, the author also outlines the human history of Vietnamese thought and the characteristics of traditional Vietnamese people. So it can be said that the content of the book is worthy for reference.
