Product Description

“This is a reprint of a book that first published in Saigon, Vietnam South, in the year of 1973. In the Preface of the book, the author writes: “At present, Vietnam lacks a philo-literature (Philo-lettres) which is a bridge between philosophy and literature that will greatly benefit Vietnamese literature: It has just opened up to the philosophy of a wider use for so many souls who are helpless without knowing what the direction of life is ... and to make Vietnamese literature more profound and rich in its enhancement; promotion of the features & characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare for that research sector. Still, it is to compensate for the nation’s lack that is important because the cultural balance is too much leaned towards literature, making light of a philosophy. The subject of philo-literature will help in repetitive equilibrium. In order to contribute to that we do not hesitate to send you some reflections and materials, most of which work in the legends, in narratives, and in their structure. We are interested in this ancient text because they are fullest connection, in other words: the philo-literature or the philosophy that lies so deep in the literary tales, they (tales) are distinctive abundant realm for the subject of philo-literature. The book is composed of three parts: The first section discussing the structure and the points related to Vietnamese Confucianism but it is a little hope of introducing some of the essence of the structure. The second part draws from the structure and analysis of some laws & rules for the interpretation of some legendary tales as well as the inference of the structure of the Vietnamese Confucianism. The third part it is attention to bring philosophy into Vietnamese literature, as a necessary direction for the nation's literature today”. (From Introduction of the book)
