“Looking for in Nostalgia” is the novel that was first published in Vietnam in 2003 and was awarded in the novels’ contest of 2002-2004 by the Vietnam Writers Association. Anyone who has ever studied in Russia or Eastern Europe can find a certain part of his (or her) life in this book ... Some about the author: Le Ngoc Mai took her Russian literature doctoral dissertation at Moscow Lomonosov University. She was a lecturer of Russian literature at the Literature Faculty of Hanoi University (now Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities). She now is living in France. She is author of novels such as Looking for in Nostalgia and On the Top of the Slope, and is a translator of many short stories and novels from Russian, Italian, French (mostly French) printed in Vietnam, in which there are: Dingo or the first love story (Ruvim Phraerman), The lover (Marguerite Duras), Suite Francaise (Irene Nemirovsky), The Words (Jean-Paul Sartre).
