This book covers over 40 articles that focuse on Professor Tran Quoc Vuong's contribution to social sciences and humanities through 4 topics: By the line of history; Vietnam: Archeology; Vietnamese culture: searching and pondering; Vietnam: geo-cultural view. These four topics were suggested by four well-known books by Prof. Tran Quoc Vuong, of which three were awarded the Ho Chi Minh Award for Science and Technology (2012). Prof. Tran Quoc Vuong (1934 - 2005) devoted all his life and career to studying the history and culture of the country. He is also the founder of many new disciplines and fields of study, in which the key is the close relationship between theory and practice, and the methodologically integrated fieldwork. His legacy is to be honest with the research, try to objectively and generalized to the maximum. This book honors his life and his contributions to the fields of history, archeology, culture, geo-culture, and anthropology.
