Foreword: "The Gie - Trieng are an ethnic minority group who mainly reside in the two provinces of Quang Nam and Kon Tum, whilst some also live in 29 provinces and citites throughout Vietnam. Like the other ethnic groups living in the Central Highlands, the Gie - Trieng have their own characteristic and unique culture, but also preserve and promote the common cultural traits which are typical and similar to other minority groups living in the Truong Son - Central Highlands region.
