The book set is considered by scholars to be of high academic value, presented in a comprehensive way and arranged in a systematic and profound sense. Director of the Institute of History, Associate Professor Dinh Quang Hai said: "This is a massive, complete and comprehensive project in all fields of politics, military, economy, social, diplomatic, security, national defense ... ". Therefore, it is considered by experts as the largest set of Vietnamese history ever. This is the first print edition of the book published in 2013.
