The discussion papers covers three main issues of the workshop: 1 – The issues on Japanese language and culture (theoretical issues on Japanese such as phonetic features, vocabulary, grammar, linguistics, writing, history of development, etc.); Japanese language and social factors that affect the use of Japanese. 2 - The problems of teaching - learning Japanese (theoretical issues of teaching - learning Japanese, the psychology and the process of absorbing the knowledge of learners etc.; the issues related to fostering teachers, to effective teaching and learning activities, curriculum development ...; practical issues that determine the quality of teaching and learning, such as education policy, educational environment, etc.). 3 – The issues on human resource training (a combination of school and enterprise, interdisciplinary training).
