Mzee Jomo Kenyatta as he was known might have been born on 1904. He was born as a leader as it is later emerge. While in Europe in early forties he comes in contact with other African leaders namely Kwame Nkurumah, Patrice Lumumba, Abudul Nasser and Ben Bella who admired his revolutionary style. On October 20th 1952, Kenyatta was arrested by the colonialist and detained for 14years. In 1963 he led Kenya into its Independency. “The Roaring Lion” that was the authority and dignity exercised while addressing to the Public. However, Mzee left us with one very important legacy “Harambee Motto”. Equally he assured the white settlers of peaceful stay in Kenya.
