The Gaston-Bourret Territorial Hospital Center was initially a colonial hospital then military and finally civilian. For more than 160 years, it has welcomed the care provided to the population of New Caledonia. The author Jean Marc Estournes, after several months of research and collection of documents from 1855 to 2016, returns to the rich history of the CHT, through numerous testimonies, photographs and anecdotes.
