Despite this book's misleading title - a two kilo book hardly qualifies as a 'field guide' - it can claim to be the most comprehensive and up to date book on the spiders to be found in the Bornean rain forests. The authors have used macro photography, increasing the life size of minute creatures, to document and illustrate over 540 species of spiders to be found in Sabah and Sarawak.
