In the context that Vietnam is stepping up international integration, participating in free trade agreements, especially new-generation free trade agreements', such as CPTPP, EVFTA ... has opened up many opportunities for national economic development. Besides, there are also many difficulties and challenges that we must strive to overcome, especially environmental issues that are increasingly concerned and set out in agreements. The implementation of obligations committed in international agreements is a matter of serious compliance by Vietnam. However, the environmental legislation system of Vietnam is still in the process of being completed, not yet synchronized, making it difficult for the implementation of international commitments; awareness of environmental protection of managers, businesses and people is not high; the management capacity of the environmental staff is poor.
