Dong Ho folk woodcut paintings are one of the three most popular, oldest and most popular lines of folk paintings in Vietnam. Located in the middle of Kinh Bac culture area, this line of traditional paintings has converged the thousand years consciousness of Vietnamese people. The book "Dong Ho Folk Painting Series" by authors Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa, Trinh Sinh and Le Bich (published jointly by the World Publishing House and Museum of Hanoi Ceramics) has been elaborated. The book consists of 232 pages and 537 photos printed on high quality paper, detailing Dong Ho village, steps to make pictures; portraits of typical Dong Ho artists and artists, and synthesized nearly 300 Dong Ho paintings. In addition, the book introduces two lesser-known paintings of Dong Ho, paper-cut paintings and burning paintings for the dead.
