The Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park (NSMNP) in Isabela Province, Northeast Luzon, is one of the largest and most diverse protected areas of the Philippines. The park’s nearly 360,000 hectares of coastal, lowland and montane ecosystems provide a habitat for an amazing variety of species, many of which are endemic to the Philippines. The NSMNP is one of the last wilderness areas in the country. It provides numerous ecosystem services to the people of Northeast Luzon, including the indigenous Agta and Dumagat. This book celebrated the diversity of ecosystems, species and people of this unique park.
