Izan Goes To The Istana is a delightful story of a little boy who visits the Istana with his parents, gets separated from them and runs into President Halimah Yacob. Written by Izan Sidek, this illustrated children's book is based on the imaginary experience of the author in commemoration of the Istana's 150th birthday. Illustrated by award-winning Singapore artist Patrick Yee, it is designed to appeal to children of all ages with its simple telling in English of a slice of Singapore history at the close of the Bicentennial Year.
