The story of a life which started in the Yenicami area of Lefkosa (Nicosia) and went through the war in 1974. It is based on a very frightening experience I had as a soldier fighting in 1974; and with flashbacks to my memories of my childhood and my youth. The aim of this book is to inform the Cypriot youth (both in the North and in the South) about the bad experiences my generation had to go through, and to encourage the youth to work to establish lasting peace in our beautiful island.
