This book contains seven chapters. It opens with a cursory look at the present ecology of the region under investigation, that is, Nellore District. The second chapter deals with the geomorphological investigations and reconstruction of palaeo-environment through mechanical and chemical analyses of soils. In the next two chapters an effort has been made to bring out the distinctive features of the palaeolithic cultural description and line drawings.
