This book is an attempt to bring out the impact of Sri Aurobindo on literature of Prof. V.K. Gokak. Sri Aurobindo made a very notable impact on Kannada literature as many eminent writers from Karnataka including Prof. D.R. Bendre, the literary guru of Prof. V.K. Gokak were drawn towards the magnetic personality of Sri Aurobindo and had become his indeed instrumental in stimulating his interest in Sri Aurobindo.
