Ma. Lilia F. Realubit is a native of Naga City. A colegiala, she then proceeded to the University of the Philippines and in the US to advance her educational degrees. Like other scholars of her generation, she dedicated the focus of her studies to anything that is Bikol, covering wide areas on folklore, archaeology, language history, arts, cultures, and political history.
