The book is an elaborate, careful and systematic work of translation and research on deified names at worship sites in northern Vietnam during the Le - Nguyen dynasties. The content of the book is divided into three main parts. Part one: Research on the text, giving readers an overview of the background, nature and role of this text as well as the position of folk beliefs in the general flow of medieval Vietnamese culture. Part two: Translation and research of place names, appearing in the text. Part three: Appendix of the Chinese script of the 'Collection of famous people deified in North Vietnam'.
