Some people get discouraged when they face adversity in life. They allow this to limit their capabilities. Stella loves mountains. She loves spending time outdoors, hiking, trekking and generally enjoying nature. Discovering that she had osteoarthritis when she was hiking, and climbing mountains more and more, would have devastated her. She could have thrown up her hands and given up, saying, ‘this is not fair’. However, she did not. Instead, she came to terms with her situation and accepted it but did not allow it to rob her of what she loved doing most.
