Pious Wilberforce, who lives with Fr. Diaz, receives university student and former teacher, Saul, who himself is addicted to pornography and walks around with amatorial cassettes. The priest is away. Saul stays overnight but mistakenly leaves behind two of the cassettes.
Sr. Lucina, Wilberforce’s classmate who lives in a nearby convent, inadvertently picks one of the cassettes from the priest’s house and takes it to the convent where it is likely to be viewed. The priest returns and is poised to play the other cassette.
There is pandemonium, both at the convent and at the priest’s house, with drastic and disastrous consequences to both Wilberforce and Sr. Lucina, which shape their later lives.
Leo uses suspense, satire, different scenes, and Catholic practices and traditions, so superbly that
a reader has no choice but to keep turning a page after another to see who is dispersing which seed and how do such cause discord in which society or relationship.
