"On Duke Vu Kham Lan: Life, Career, and Legacy" is the most complete publication of primary documents related to Vu Kham Lan, including many precious documents that are still little known. The documents are decoded, translated with the highest effort. At the same time, from "deep reading", intertextual reading, the book reconstructs relatively clearly the "portrait" of the Confucian - scholar - official Vu Kham Lan, as well as partially repositioning his position in the "picture" of Dai Viet in the 18th century in particular and in the history of Vietnamese culture in general.
