Nguyen Dinh Chieu is one of the great poets of the nation. Since the August Revolution, and especially since 1975, his works have been introduced and popularized throughout the country. But most of these works have not been done rigorously, because in fact historical data is still insufficient, especially the necessary Nom versions. For many reasons, understanding his life and career, talents and personality over the past century is still incomplete.
