Mr. Ike is kidnapped on the evening Emeka arrives in Enugu from Abuja to commence his holidays. The police are helpless. The kidnappers demand an incredible sum. Matters get worse when the hostage was not released after the ransom was paid. Mr. Ike's domestic aide is being suspected but there was no credible proof to tie him to the crime.
