In the Struggle and Service of My People describes the growing up and education of a boy in the Anglo Egyptian Sudan in a missionary dominated environment. This memoir explains the economic political educational policies of the Anglo Egyptian Sudan, dominated by the British, which marginalized the South Sudanese. Through Hilary Paul Logali’s story one can see the awakening up of the South Sudanese to political realities only to find out that they have been railroaded, fait accompli, into a country without their knowledge and consultation.
