Islam in South Asia maintained a conspicuous role of venularization by integrating and interpreting Islamic theology, jurisprudence and ethics in the local context and terms. Indianization of Islam through gradual adoption and interaction with new values systems, laws, and cultures in non-Islamic but inclusive environment presents a successful model of hermeneutics and syncretic way of Islamic teaching and learning.
