The Encyclopedia of Indigenous Nationalities of Nepal, initiated by the National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN), aims to document various aspects of indigenous communities over the next five years, covering topics such as origin, language, traditions, and political representation. The project is supported by a team of scholars and aims to provide valuable resources for researchers, media professionals, and policymakers. This first volume serves as an introduction and sets the stage for subsequent volumes that will explore the diverse indigenous groups in Nepal.
